The Devon and Torbay Combined County Authority is excited to unveil its Draft Local Growth Plan, a bold 10-year vision designed to help our region grow, thrive, and prosper.

We are now inviting residents, businesses, and community stakeholders to review the plan and share their feedback.

Our plan outlines five key priorities that build on the unique strengths of Devon and Torbay while addressing shared challenges:

  1. Driving Investment: Unlocking growth opportunities and fostering collaboration to attract investment that benefits communities and businesses.
  2. Boosting Business: Supporting local business to grow, innovate and connect.
  3. Backing key sectors: Strengthening vital industries such as clean energy, defence, farming, construction, and healthcare.
  4. Celebrating Local Identity and Culture: Making Devon and Torbay even more attractive places to live and visit.
  5. Empowering Our Residents: Improving access to  housing, skills training, and career opportunities.

The draft plan reflects extensive engagement with stakeholders across the region including local authorities, businesses, education providers, and community organisations.
